Dr Gavin Rens was awarded the 2017 Claude Leon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, the flagship educational initiative in the sciences programme.
The Claude Leon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship programme in the sciences is now celebrating its nineteenth year. The main goal of the programme is to help build research capacity in South African universities and research institutions.
Gavin will commence the postdoctoral studies in January 2017.
