Title: Who is managing the business information?
Speaker: Dr A.W. Abcouwer, University of Amsterdam
Biography:
TOON ABCOUWER is an assistant professor at the University van Amsterdam. He is the programme co-ordinator of the Executive Master in Information Management programme, a post-graduate master programme of the Amsterdam graduate Business School. In his research he is focussing on the relation between business and ICT and on how information strategy is developed. He is (co)author of five books, about information strategy and relational databases. He wrote articles concerning the impact of ICT on organisation and the didactical aspects of teaching information management.
