BCS Accreditation for Degree

Honours graduates from the Department have their degrees accredited by the British Computer Society. In essence, the BCS acts as an international quality assessor of computer science degrees and are happy to attest that the computer science degree from UCT meets an international standard.

Our Honours course is accredited as meeting the requirements for Chartered IT Professional (CITP) certification and partially meeting the requirements for Chartered Scientist (CSci) registration. (This only applies to students have also completed their undergraduate studies in our department).
