University of Cape Town wins Standard Bank IT Challenge 2014
The winning team
The University of Cape Town (UCT) is R170 000 richer after winning the Standard Bank IT Challenge 2014 held on 20 August 2014 at the Standard Bank, Rosebank Offices, Johannesburg.
The UCT Team represented by Ashraf Moolla, Dylan Nelson and Sean Wentzel -took first place amongst nine other teams - from Universities of Wits, North West, Western Cape, Pretoria, Rhodes, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan, Kwazulu-Natal, Stellenbosch and the Standard Bank team.
UCT won R170 000 and each participating student received a Certificate of Recognition and a 10 inch tablet from Dell
