Tragic passing of Gary Marsden

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the tragic passing of Gary Marsden. Gary died on Friday, 27 December 2013 of a suspected heart attack while on holiday with his family in Cape Town. He is survived by his wife Gil and children Holly and Jake.

Gary was an exceptional colleague, teacher and friend whose impact on UCT, HCI, I4D, the SA Computer Science community and on each and every colleague and student he knew was immense. The world will not be the same without him.
