Charity Chao Mbogo awarded an ACM-W scholarship

Ms Charity Chao Mbogo [ICT4D], currently studying for a PhD in Computer Science, has been awarded an ACM-W scholarship for attendance at 11th International Conference on Mobile Learning 2015.

Chao had a paper that was accepted and will be presenting at the International Conference on Mobile Learning 2015.

ACM-W provides support for women undergraduate and graduate students in Computer Science and related programs to attend research conferences.

This exposure to the Computer Science research world can encourage a student to continue on to the next level (Undergraduate to Graduate, Masters to Ph.D., Ph.D. to an industry or academic position).  [Read more]
