Open Post-Doctoral Researcher Position in Evolutionary Robotics at UCT
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town has an open position for a post-doctoral researcher.
The researcher will participate in an ongoing evolutionary robotics research project, where the objective is to derive novel adaptive methods that autonomously adapt robot controllers (behaviours) and sensory-motor configurations (morphologies) such that large groups of robots (robotic swarms) autonomously produce problem solving collective behaviours for a range of tasks with high level user specified goals.
The position is funded by the National Research Foundation and is for eighteen (18) months starting as early as June, 2015.
