Two awards for Xamobile: A comparison of mobile input methods for historical African languages
"Xamobile: A comparison of mobile input methods for historical African languages" research was the recipient of two awards at the Postgraduate Research Expo 2015.
Sunkanmi Olaleye Msc student in the Computer Science Department, supervised by Associate Professor Hussein Suleman, researching the preservation of historical African languages has completed the first phase of experimentation and is currently extracting and analysing the data.
This research won the following awards:

2. African-Specific research category----2nd Prize (R800
The Xamobile poster submitted will be displayed at the UCT library throughout this academic year
