  • Build your CV.
  • Train to be a future teacher/academic (maybe).

Who is eligible?

    • they have completed CSC1010H and CSC1011H, and wish to tutor these courses.

Tutor training

A workshop on successful tutoring will be run early next year, in the week before classes begins. The training is valuable not only for tutoring purposes but also for facilitating group work in any environment. This is very important in industry - add it to your CV and hone your skills in 2013.

Appointment as tutor

Applicants who meet the minimum requirements and who have not tutored before will be invited to attend the tutor training session if they have not attended before.  Appointments will only be made after the tutor training workshop.

Expected rates of pay

The rate of pay will depend on funding from the Science Faculty; to be confirmed later. Maximum/typical time per week is four hours for most tutoring positions.
