Judith Bishop honoured with SAICSIT Pioneers Award
Congratulations also to our Honorary Professor Judith Bishop who also received the SAICSIT Pioneers Award together with Professor Ken MacGregor.
Judith was nominated by a Professor from the University of Johannesburg and received her award for her key role in promoting Computer Science at South African Universities and for bringing a strong South African presence to numerous international editorial boards and conference committees in the discipline.
Judith is offering a Honours module in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town in 2012 and, as Head of Computer Science in External Research at Microsoft in Redmond USA, plays a major role in supporting conferences, internships and visits for postgraduates from across the world.
