Ken MacGregor honoured with SAICSIT Pioneers Award
Congratulations to Professor Ken MacGregor who was awarded the South African Institute for Computer Scientists and Information Technologists (SAICSIT) Pioneers Award at the annual SAICSIT conference held in Cape Town from 3 to 5 October 2011.
This honour is well deserved as Ken was not only responsible for building the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town into one of the finest on the continent, but also for establishing and promoting the discipline of Computer Science across South Africa.
